Path to Membership

Joining ABM begins with a conversation and develops through relationships. Membership cannot simply be purchased. It is extended by invitation to people whom ABM Members believe will strengthen the community.

1. Choose How You Would Like to Get to Know ABM

There are three ways to begin. Whichever you choose, we want to learn about you, your work, what matters to you, what you want to learn, and the opportunities you hope to create.

  • You can start with a personal conversation with us. Book a time below.

  • You can attend an information session via Zoom to learn about ABM in a group setting. Follow the link below for more information.

  • Or you can jump right in and apply below to participate in an ABM Online Connector as our guest, where you will meet one-on-one with ABM Members.

2. Attend an Online Connector

No matter how you begin, every potential new Member is eventually introduced to the ABM Community by participating in an Online Connector as our guest.

As our guest, you are an important participant in any Connector. Every guest changes the conversation. Your presence introduces new ideas, knowledge, perspectives, and questions, often creating insights and opening unexpected pathways.

Online Connectors are not webinars. There is no selling or pitching. You will actively participate in up to five private, curated 20-minute conversations with ABM Members whose work, experience, and priorities are relevant to yours.

We know our Members beyond what appears on corporate websites - their work, priorities, experience, relationships, and interests. Based on that knowledge, we connect dots that would otherwise remain invisible and curate a schedule of meaningful conversations for you.

You will experience ABM directly through conversations with Members who exemplify its culture of dialogue, friendship, and collaboration. You will share your own priorities, opportunities, and aspirations while learning about theirs. Together, you will discover whether ABM feels like the right community for you.

There is no expectation that participating as a guest will lead to membership. Some guests choose to continue their journey with ABM, while others participate only once. In every case, the exchange is grounded in mutual respect, genuine curiosity, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships.

3. Membership Is Extended by Invitation

Following your participation in an ABM Online Connector, ABM Members provide feedback on whether they believe there is a strong mutual fit and whether your participation will strengthen the community while helping you advance your objectives.

The decision is based not only on whether you wish to join, but also on whether Members believe there is a strong foundation for an ongoing relationship. Where there is consensus, we will extend an invitation to become an ABM Member.

Membership starts at $2,900 per year and includes unlimited participation in ABM Online Connectors, unlimited seats for your organization, participation in all ABM Spheres, relationship development support, and opportunities to cultivate learning, business, dialogue, partnership, personal growth, and friendship throughout the year.

Representatives of Indigenous governments and their departments, development corporations, tribal councils, and Indigenous non-profit organizations participate in the ABM Community at no cost.

The Annual Community Gathering and Dialogue Forums are optional, fee-based additions for Members who wish to deepen relationships through face-to-face dialogue, learning, and collaboration.
