While the decision-makers who represent the business and stewardship interests of Indigenous communities are the backbone of the ABM Community, ABM offers a rare and immensely valuable invitation to have your assumptions and approaches scrutinized. Engaging in this process must be part of your ongoing commitment to developing critical perspectives that allow you to work effectively and knowledgeably in Indigenous spaces, providing a depth of insight and capability that strengthens you both as a professional and as a human being.

Engaging with all members of the ABM Community is a chance to develop increasingly sophisticated business practices rooted in a deep understanding of the histories, relationships, and responsibilities that shape how we operate on traditional territories. Unless this motivates you above all else, you will not find ABM rewarding.
