About Us

ABM was co-founded in 2012 by L. Maynard Harry (KWAST-en-ayu) and is led by Katrin Harry, Managing Partner.

Based in the Tla'amin Nation on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, ABM has been shaped by the relationships, responsibilities, and teachings that emerge from this place.

L. Maynard Harry is a co-founder of ABM, a member of the Tla'amin Nation, and Principal of Indigenous Insight. His leadership is grounded in Indigenous knowledge, governance, stewardship, and his community, helping shape ABM's commitment to Indigenous sophistication.

Katrin is a German immigrant whose leadership has been profoundly shaped through her relationship with Maynard, his family, and the broader Tla'amin community. She is accountable to her Tla'amin family and understands her presence here as an ongoing responsibility.

Together, Maynard and Katrin built ABM as a community where people multiply one another's influence. Every Member strengthens the community, contributing knowledge, relationships, and opportunities that extend far beyond any one individual.

At the heart of this work are the young people in their family. Maynard and Katrin hope that their work, and the work of the entire ABM Community, contribute to a future where the next and all future generations can prosper on a livable planet.

Katrin leads the day-to-day work of ABM and ensures the ABM Community operates effectively. She curates relationships between decision-makers while stewarding the ABM Community's purpose and values.
